Mission Statement
Together with ECC Country Parks Rangers we will work for the benefit of the community in the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment with particular regard to the Flitch Way and any other sites that come under the management of the Flitch Way Ranger Service.
We also aim to improve the education of the community in the consevation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environement.

Gatewoods pond is just one of the wonderful wildlife refuges that can be seen along the Flitch Way. Newts and frogs lay their eggs in the pond, a family of moorhens can often be seen nesting on the far banks and dragonflies regularly visit on sunny days.
