Explore where we work
Most of the conservation work we do is along the Flitch Way with the Essex Country Park Rangers or specific tasks at Great Notley Country Park which is connected to the Flitch Way by a marked bridle path.
The Essex Country Park Rangers also have responsibility for a number of woodlands including Garnetts Wood at Barnston, Tarecroft Wood at Rivenhall, Levelly Wood at Shalford, and Border Wood at Little Waltham. We have occasional work parties in these woods as well as along the Blackwater Rail Trail the former rail track between Witham and Maldon.
In contrast volunteers working on the Footpath Work Group undertake tasks all over Essex.
